In 2001-2003, sextet eighth blackbird toured the United States performing di/verge, an evening-length musical work composed by Minimum Security directors DeSantis, Etezady, Silverman, and Ueno. Di/verge was structured in sixteen movements, four from each of the collaborating composers; each composer's contribution was a "thread" interwoven with the others to create the complete work.
